CHRISTMAS DISCLAIMER!!!!

img_5491

Happy Holidays everyone!! I hope everyone is enjoying this Christmas Season! At this time of year many of us take the day December 25th to represent the birth of Christ, some take this day to celebrate Jesus birth in addition to other holidays or things one may think Christmas symbolizes such as Santa Clause, presents, the cutting of the Christmas tree, food, family the list goes on.

Its been said that Christmas is suppose to be the happiest time of the year and that were suppose to spread love, joy and peace at this time. Unfortunately this time of year is hard for many. I would like to speak a word of encouragement to those who don’t have much to give during this holiday season or for those who don’t have family to spend this day with, or maybe you lost a loved one, I want to tell you to please don’t let this season get you down! Don’t give into what society says Christmas is suppose to be and what you need to be doing. For example PLEASE PLEASE don’t follow society when they make you think you have to spend your last dime on gifts and then go into debt in order to make Christmas Christmas -_-

Also if you don’t have family to spend this holiday with, its ok to hang out with friends! JUST A REMINDER: SOCIETY DOSENT MAKE UP THE RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR CHRISTMAS! If you don’t have friends, let someone know, please don’t keep it to yourself and stay inside depressed and lonely, but tell someone like a member at your church or job. You would be surprised at the amount of people that would love to have you over to spend the holiday with!

So to everyone I say even though December 25th isn’t really the day Jesus was born we still selected this day to celebrate his birth. So if you do partake in the other festivities of the holidays such as the exchange of gifts, secret Santa’s, santa clause etc. Just remember to put God first and thank him for sending his only son Jesus. Take this time to be a blessing to someone else. Maybe your that person that can invite someone you know that doesn’t have a family to spend the holidays with, either way EVERYONE lets spread love, joy and peace not only at this time of year but throughout the year!

God bless and have a Merry Merry Christmas!!!!!!
