MY PUSHER!

I know we seen this picture a lot of times with different sayings on it, but this picture of the man pushing the girl off the cliff has been the story of my life since God put the vision to pursue my music ministry on my heart. When I felt like converting back to my old ways of living a average boring life that was comfortable to me, this has been my husband. He pushes me to get out of my comfort zone and to excel to reach my purpose. (Romans 12:2 ESV “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”) Thanks Babe! but ultimately thank you Jesus! because you knew what you were doing when you put us together, he is not only a great provider but supporter to what you placed in my heart to do. Ecclesiastes 4:9 says ” Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed.”

I ask you today who is your pusher? (Proverbs 17:17) Do you surround yourself with people that are supportive of your goals? (Psalms 1:1) When I think of great friendships in the bible an example would be Naomi and Ruth. Ruth stuck with Naomi until the end and was blessed! Orpah was selfish and went on her way and was never heard of in the bible again! Another great friendship was David and Jonathan. Jonathan turned on his father! His own blood! just to make sure David got to safety. Ask yourself this: Are you going with the goers and moving with the movers? Its so important to surround yourself with people that help bring out your true potential and not try to hinder or distract you from your calling. (Proverbs 3:20 “Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble.”)

Its so easy to become just another number and exist in this world, but God has called us to change the world and you can’t do that by being average. Take time today and evaluate the people in your life and your level of complacency.
